MENTORSHIP

Mentorship Program

Fit+Fierce is proud to offer a mentorship program to girls who have gone through the program whom we believe would be incredible role models to the young girls joining the program each year.  The process is as follows:
  1. Our junior high and high school aged girls are informed about the mentorship program.
  2. Girls who are interested come forward and apply.
  3. We choose girls who have truly embodied the teachings, and will be good role models to younger girls.
  4. We match the mentor with a specific group to follow for the year.
  5. The mentor shows up each month and becomes a front of the room leader. She shares her experiences, and focuses on connecting and having fun with the girls.
  6. At the end of the year, we provide the mentor with a reference letter if they are interested.
This program has been incredibly valuable to both the mentor and the girls in the program. It builds amazing leadership skills and confidence in the mentor. The girls in the program benefit by connecting with another role model, as they look to them for advice and understanding.
