The Fitness Component

Focuses on developing a positive attitude towards fitness as they learn age appropriate exercises in a safe & fun way. They learn proper exercise technique, why the principles of fitness are important to follow, basic anatomy and the function and roles the various muscle groups play. Each workout session includes a proper warm up and cool down, exercise instruction and demonstration, and the use of a variety of exercise equipment. Each month the girls will incorporate different workout tools and learn how to incorporate them into workouts. They will gain valuable workout experience and understand how to make a fun and challenging workout using a variety of equipment available in a gym setting.
